Rhodes grass is a warm-season grass that is commonly used for grazing and hay production. It is a highly productive grass that can grow up to 3 ft in height. Rhodes grass is drought-tolerant and can grow in a range of soil types. We are growing in sandy soil. Its per acre yield is around 1800 kgs. Samsons is exporting it to the UAE. We are currently growing Rhodes grass on 2,000 acres with an annual production of 22,500 MT Hay with a plan to increase to 4,000 acres by the end of 2025 with an annual production of 45,000 MT Hay.
